Mid-week and warm one winter
day a hummingbird did enter
this home passing fairly through an open door.
Motivated, this colubris
flirting skyward, stuck, drew hubris
Unto wings whirled at pane of glass impeded fore
Nor a visit-more a stutter,
hampered by thy tallest dormer,
Held back,
as forth-the days of yore.
A humming-bird flew into the house and was stuck. I HELPED IT OUT.
